Getting There

Travel

Sitges sits about 35 km southwest of Barcelona, roughly 20 minutes from Barcelona–El Prat airport (BCN). Here are your options from the airport (costs and times are approximate).

Train

Rodalies line R2 Sud runs from the airport via Barcelona Sants and Passeig de Gràcia to Sitges.

  • Cost: approx. €4–5
  • Time: approx. 45–55 min

Private Transfer

Pre-booked car or shuttle door-to-door. Easiest with luggage or in a group.

  • Cost: approx. €60–80 per car
  • Time: approx. 30–40 min

Taxi

Metered taxis from the airport rank — no booking needed.

  • Cost: approx. €70–90
  • Time: approx. 30–40 min

Group transport

We’ll share any group transport arrangements between the hotels and venues closer to the time. In the meantime, the options above will get you there easily.

Good to know

  • Currency: Spain uses the euro (€). Cards are widely accepted; carry a little cash for small cafés and taxis.
  • Tipping: Not obligatory. Rounding up or 5–10% for good service in restaurants is plenty.
  • Passports & visas: Non-EU guests (incl. UK) should check passport validity and any ETIAS / entry requirements for Spain (Schengen) well before travelling. [Confirm current rules nearer the date.]
  • Parking: If you’re driving, the town centre and most Sitges hotels have paid parking nearby.
